What’s your favorite thing about working at Center City District? 
What I love most about working at Center City District is being involved in meaningful projects that enhance the quality of life in the city. I also enjoy contributing creatively to these initiatives and seeing my work all over Center City. I love working downtown and being within walking distance to all kinds of entertainment, foods, and peaceful parks.

What is your role, and what does a day in your work life at CCD look like? 
As a Graphic Designer, no two days are the same. Currently, I’m working closely with our Marketing team for initiatives such as Restaurant Week and SIPS. This involves creating a variety of materials, including brochures, digital ads, postcards, and other marketing collateral. I collaborate closely with the rest of the Design team to develop all the visuals and materials needed for our parks, reports, and events.

What work are you most proud of in your role at CCD? 
It’s tough to pick! Most recently, it would be taking part in creating the visuals for our new initiative Open Streets: West Walnut.

If you were planning a day out in Center City, what would be on the agenda? 
I’d start my day by taking the SEPTA Regional Rail to Dilworth Park before heading over to Reading Terminal Market. There, I’d grab some food at either Olympia Gyro or Tambayan. I would pick up some cannolis from Termini Bros to enjoy on my way to Blick Art Materials to browse their selection of arts and crafts supplies. I’d then walk over to Rittenhouse Row for some shopping and stop by La Colombe for a cup of coffee. If it’s a Saturday, I would stop by the farmer’s market on Rittenhouse Square for some fresh flowers. To end the day, I’d enjoy dinner at a restaurant in Midtown Village, like Bud and Marilyn’s or El Vez.

What is something interesting about you outside of your CCD work that you would like to share about yourself?
I love languages. Spanish is my first language, and I’m fluent in both English and German, with a bit of French as well.
