Dilworth Park Again Prepares for Winter Festivities

It’s That Time Of The Year! Dilworth’s Transformation Into A Holiday Wonderland Is Underway

PHILADELPHIA (October 13, 2017) — This week, Dilworth Park again begins its transformation for winter festivities.

With the weather turning cool, the park’s fountains were turned off for the season on Thursday, October 12, in advance of Octoberfest and the Made in Philadelphia Fall Market this weekend, October 13-15.

After Octoberfest weekend, preparations will begin for the installation of the Rothman Institute Ice Rink and construction of America’s Garden Capital Maze on the Albert M. Greenfield Lawn both beginning on Monday, October 23. Both the rink and maze will open Friday, November 10.

Installation will begin for the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market on Monday, November 13 and the market will open on Saturday, November 18.

This year, Dilworth Park will also feature a special new attraction. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!
