Exclusive happy hour discounts every Wednesday, June 7-August 30!

PHILADELPHIA (April 26, 2023): Mix, mingle and make it a night; Philadelphia’s favorite happy hour tradition returns this summer to offer the ultimate after-work experience. Beginning June 7 and continuing every Wednesday through August 30, Center City District (CCD) SIPS will highlight dozens of bars and restaurants as they offer exclusive discounts found only in Center City.

Every week from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., more than 60 venues will serve $7 cocktails, including specials made with Hornitos® Tequila, $6 wine, $5 beer and half-priced appetizers. After 7 p.m., select locations will provide 15% off of dinner. From outdoor beer gardens and cocktail lounges to dance bars and some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia, there’s a place for everyone at CCD SIPS.  Find the full list of participants at ccdsips.com.

SIPS Style also begins this June with discounts at select retailers across Center City. Every Wednesday through the end of August, participating businesses invite shoppers to make the most of their day downtown by taking advantage of reduced-price merchandise and services. The all-day discounts, which begin at 20% off, are perfect for office workers looking for day-to-night fashion, a lunchbreak fitness class or pre-SIPS pampering. Participating locations include:

CCD SIPS at Dilworth Park presented by Hornitos® Tequila is back this year with live DJ entertainment and an extended space. For the first time, the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink will be open for skating during the event, available only to CCD SIPS guests 21 and older. A valid ticket is required for skating and will be available for purchase onsite. The park’s colorful aesthetic will be amplified by an immersive photo experience and fun décor. The Air Grille Garden will offer $7 Hornitos® Tequila cocktails, $6 wine and $5 Kona Big Wave beer, plus weekly food specials. The park’s festive overlay will only be set up on Wednesday nights during the SIPS season, so visitors are encouraged to stop by before it’s gone. 

On Wednesday, May 24 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., CCD will host an official CCD SIPS Preview Party in partnership with Wooderice Philly! The one-night-only special event, located at Pagano’s Market and Bar (2001 Market Street,) will feature exclusive SIPS pricing, live DJ entertainment, giveaways and samplings courtesy of Hornitos® Tequila. Attendance is free for all guests 21 and older.
