FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILADELPHIA (June 6, 2019): The All-American Cookout is a free and festive five-day jubilee that celebrates the official start of summer. Beginning Wednesday, June 19 through Sunday, June 23, this Dilworth Park tradition takes America’s favorite summer pastime and adds a generous helping of distinctly Philadelphia flavor. Adults, kids, (and even dogs!) are guaranteed to have a blast.
Planned in partnership with Brûlée Catering, Dilworth Park’s food and beverage provider, the All-American Cookout will offer a smorgasbord of summertime favorites, including a Maker’s Mark bourbon BBQ burger, Philly favorite Weckerly’s ice cream and chicken tenders for the kids. Representatives from Herr’s will be on-site to provide free samples of limited-edition snacks, featuring Stubb’s® Sticky Sweet Cheese Curls and McCormick Montreal Steak® Potato Chips. Live music and DJ tracks curated by Live Nation will play from the MET Philadelphia Stage as parkgoers cool off with a Bud Light or Landshark Lager at the pop-up beer garden. The popular Fine Art and Craft Fair will return on Saturday and Sunday, welcoming a diverse group of Philadelphia-area artisans. Guests can browse and buy clothing, paintings, jewelry and more!
The All-American Cookout will keep visitors entertained with a full lineup of unique activities.
