FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILADELPHIA (June 30, 2020): Center City District (CCD) is pleased to introduce safe summer programming, starting with PNC presents Live @ Lunch at Dilworth Park. Beginning July 8, local musicians will perform lunchtime concerts for parkgoers every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon through August 27.
The artists, curated in partnership with Little Giant Creative, represent the city’s diverse music scene. From jazzy crooners to R&B boppers, this season’s eclectic lineup is chockfull of stars on the rise. Guests are encouraged to enjoy their talents from afar, as safe social distancing guidelines will be posted for all to see.
“In these challenging times, the arts help us celebrate the diversity of our community and there are few better ways to do that than through the PNC Presents Live @ Lunch performances at Dilworth Park. It is the perfect location to enjoy the summer season in a safe environment and support the city’s local artists,” said Joe Meterchick, PNC Bank regional president for Philadelphia, Delaware and Southern New Jersey.
The schedule of performers will be announced at the beginning of each week and will be promoted on the Dilworth Park social media channels. Additional entertainment will pop up sporadically.
CCD and the Dilworth Park Café operators have implemented increased health safety procedures throughout the park and visitors will be reminded to adhere to all CDC guidelines. Visit DilworthPark.org to learn more.
Schedule is weather permitting and subject to change. For the most up-to-date information, visit: DilworthPark.org.
