PHILADELPHIA (May 6, 2019) – As warm weather begins to blanket Center City, Dilworth Park is preparing a full lineup of summer fun. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of programs and free events, which include outdoor movies, live music, pop-up markets and more! The schedule includes:
Rothman Orthopaedic Institute presents Center City Fit
Mondays & Tuesdays
Now through October 15, 6 p.m.
Get ready to get movin’! Presented by Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, this FREE fitness series will feature a variety of classes for participants of all skill levels. Professional trainers from Optimal Sports Health Club 1315 Walnut will lead these sessions:
Mondays: Zumba®
Tuesdays: Boot Camp (now through July 23)
Cardio Kickboxing (July 30-October 15)
Zumba Fest® Dance for Peace

June 1, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Rothman Orthopaedic Institute presents Center City Fit will host this celebration of love and togetherness shared between hundreds of participants. Philadelphians from every corner of the city will become a part of “One Big Family” as they dance and bond through this exercise in disguise. A team of seasoned ZIN instructors and ZJs will headline this special event.

Local musicians will showcase their labors of love in the heart of Center City. Beginning in June, a rotating setlist of R&B artists will sooth your workweek blues. Jazz tunes will take over throughout July with a variety of high-caliber performers on board to compose the sounds of summer.
The PNC Terrace will be open for parkgoers to relax, chill out and enjoy a bite during lunchtime. The PNC presents Live @ Lunch schedule is as follows:

Center City District SIPS at Dilworth Park presented by EFFEN

Sip and sway in style at the Dilworth Park Café. Every Wednesday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., ice-cold libations will be served on the outdoor patio. Hornitos Tequila and EFFEN Vodka cocktails will be offered for just $6, plus red and white wine for $5. Summertime favorite, Victory Summer Love will be available and cold Bud Light cans will be featured for $4.
On select evenings, the Temple University Alumni Association will host Temple Takeovers featuring additional Temple-themed cocktails and drink discounts, as well as a chance to mix and mingle with fellow “Owls”.
The park will stay hoppin’ until 8:30 p.m. each week with live DJ entertainment. The schedule includes:

Rock & roll into the weekend with Philly’s favorite free concert series. An impressive lineup of local bands heard on 93.3 WMMR will rotate each week, with Brent Porche serving as the program’s resident MC. Grab some grub at the Air Grille and Dilworth Park Café, or unwind with a seasonal EFFEN Vodka cocktail, wine or cold Landshark Lager. This season’s setlist powered by Live Nation includes:

Get a taste of summer with backyard favorites and classic bites provided by the Dilworth Park Café, featuring Maker’s Mark bourbon in summer cocktails and tasty sauces. Guests can also cool off with a Bud Light or Landshark Lager at the pop-up beer garden, while a variety of live music and DJ tunes play from the Met Philadelphia Stage, curated by Live Nation.
There will be fun carnival games for kids and adults to play, plus other backyard-inspired activities. Guests are encouraged to bring their pups dressed to impress for a Patriotic Pooch Contest on Saturday and Sunday! These and other surprises will keep you entertained throughout this 5-day series. Don’t forget to stop by the Fine Art & Craft Fair starting June 22 through June 23!

This weekend-long celebration of art and small business returns to Dilworth Park following a successful debut last summer. Visitors are encouraged to support local crafters by browsing and buying one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork, clothing, jewelry and more.
TD Bank presents Pictures in the Park
Fridays
July 19 through August 23, 8:30 p.m.
Kids and grownups will have a blast watching blockbuster films on the big screen! This free, outdoor movie series, presented by TD Bank, will feature super hero smash-hits, fantastic fantasies and awesome adventures sponsored by Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes at the Franklin Institute. Starting at 8 p.m., free popcorn, courtesy of TD Bank, will be distributed to the first 100 guests while supplies last.
Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Dilworth Park Café, along with beer, wine and cocktails. Be sure to come early for movie trivia curated by the Philadelphia Film Society with Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes exhibit tickets and swag for prizes. This event is BYO blanket, so pick a spot and enjoy the show. The lineup includes:
