FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILADELPHIA (March 31, 2025) — Center City District (CCD) is pleased to announce the hiring of Adam Robinson as Vice President of Development and Partnerships, effective today. In this role, Robinson will lead the team focused on non-assessment revenue, bringing his breadth of experience in building strategic partnerships and driving fundraising initiatives to help scale CCD's impact.
Robinson most recently served as Senior Corporate and Government Partnerships Officer at the Museum of the American Revolution in Old City, where he led the museum's relationships with dozens of supportive companies and expanded and managed its Corporate Advisory Council. During his tenure, he doubled annual corporate partnerships revenue and helped secure federal, state, and local governmental funding.
"We are thrilled to welcome Adam to our leadership team," Center City District President and CEO Prema Katari Gupta. "His collaborative approach, leadership skills, and proven track record in cultivating relationships with C-suite executives, government officials, and community stakeholders will be tremendous assets to help expand our reach and scale our impact."
Prior to his six years at the Museum of the American Revolution, Robinson's professional background includes managing corporate partnerships for United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and serving as Director of Legislative Affairs for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. His experience also spans field leadership roles with local and national political campaigns.
Robinson holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government and a bachelor’s degree in political science with a certificate in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a resident of Philadelphia's Fairmount neighborhood and an alumnus of Leadership Philadelphia and Committee of Seventy's Buchholz Fellow program.
"I'm excited to join Center City District and contribute to its important mission," Robinson said. "I look forward to working with this talented team to develop innovative partnerships and expand our resources to support the organization's growth and impact."
