PHILADELPHIA (August 20, 2026) — Located just steps from Philadelphia’s historic City Hall, Dilworth Park remains a can’t-miss destination for residents and visitors this fall. Free fitness classes, an outdoor marketplace and an Arts on Center Stage special performance are just some of the many opportunities to experience one of Center City’s premier public spaces.
Center City Fit presented by Rothman Orthopaedics continues every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. through October 6. The popular Zumba® dance classes are free for participants of all skill levels and are led by a professional instructor from City Fitness.
CityPickle will pop up in the park with two professional-grade pickleball courts from Wednesday, September 2 through Sunday, October 18. Court reservations will be available beginning on August 26. For more information, please visit CityPickle website.
The Made in Philadelphia Market returns on Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6 with over 50 local artisans and small businesses selling handmade jewelry, baked goods, candles, skincare and more. From Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, the market returns for the Made in Philadelphia Fall Fest, featuring a beer garden, including highlights from Maker’s Mark® and Sam Adams, live entertainment, and free apple cider pressing.
On Thursday, October 1, the Philadelphia Ballet will participate in a special edition of Arts on Center Stage. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the program will include performances by members of the School of Philadelphia Ballet and Philadelphia Ballet II.
Dining options in Dilworth Park include options from grab-and-go snacks to happy hour deals and lunchtime staples. The Dilworth Park Café is open every day with coffee, breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats. Outside at The Patio, enjoy sandwiches, wraps and salads, and then in the evening, guests 21 and over can relax with cocktails, wine and beer.
Dilworth Park’s dancing fountains remain open daily through October 18.
