The CCD is now proposing a new five-year plan and budget that will provide expanded levels of service, while continuing to keep our annual cost increases in line with the rate of inflation.

The proposed 2023-2027 Plan and Budget offers expanded services due to a significant increase in the value of new office, hotel and residential developments that have occurred since the CCD last issued a five-year plan and budget in 2017.

If you are a commercial tenant in a property within the CCD, you do not directly pay the CCD charge since it is assessed to your property’s owner; however, you do derive a benefit. The goal of the Center City District is to provide a clean, safe and attractive place to work and live by providing high-quality services, including sidewalk cleaning, graffiti removal, streetscape improvements and maintenance, plus a wide range of crime prevention services. The services of the CCD are supported by an assessment on real property.
