Sidewalk cleaning

More than 100 uniformed CCD workers clean 233 blocks three times a day, seven days a week—ensuring Center City opens clean and stays clean throughout the day. During warm weather months, sidewalks receive monthly pressure washing to remove accumulated stains and grime.

Fee for service

Crews clean sidewalks in some adjacent neighborhoods through fee-for-service contracts, typically once a week. The full range of CCD services is only available within District boundaries.
