Event Rentals

Imagine your networking event, corporate or wedding reception or, milestone birthday party at the center of Center City, adjacent to historic City Hall. Socialize next to a national historic landmark, alongside dancing fountains, stroll the lush lawn, get cozy in our sidebar café with views up the Benjamin Franklin Parkway – mingling can become magical at the center of the city.

Dilworth Park Features

Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn
The Wintergarden, one of the most beloved seasonal features at Dilworth Park, is available for private event rentals through February 2021.  With an open air layout in the shadow of historic City Hall, the Wintergarden displays an array of seasonal plantings, topiaries, and festive twinkling lights.  At the heart of the Wintergarden is an expansive pergola, wrapped in Willow tree branches and holiday lights – perfect for a ceremony, or any other celebratory focal point.  For more info on rental options contact rentals@centercityphila.org.

The Fountain
The Fountain at Dilworth is water sculpture set in motion; its streams of water spout at random intervals– a lively accent to your festivities. The fountain jets can be custom-programmed at your discretion. Philadelphia is going to party here like never before.

PNC Terrace
Large crowds find their comfort level at PNC Terrace, an inviting open space adjacent to the café, offering views up the Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This terrace can seat over 100 people, while the café makes room for 25 more. Make it your go-to place to forge connections, present to large groups, put on a speaker series--all in tune with the rhythm of the city around you.

Albert M. Greenfield Lawn
This green space surrounded by seating areas offers endless ways to entertain. Whether you’re planning a family or company picnic complete with lawn games, an outdoor movie screening or a lunchtime concert, the Albert M. Greenfield Lawn provides a splash of greenery in the city’s most vibrant new park.

Community Access Program Events

CCD is pleased to offer charitable 501(c)3 organizations an opportunity to apply for a reduced rental fee at Dilworth and all of its parks for events that are free and open to the public. Events that are organized and managed by 501(c)3 organizations or public agencies may apply to the CCD to have their event considered for approval for the Community Access Program (CAP). Brûlée Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix is Philadelphia’s premier catering company serving the greater Philadelphia region. Health Safety Protocols

CCD and all of our Dilworth Park business partners have implemented increased health safety procedures throughout the park and visitors will be reminded to adhere to all CDC guidelines. Masks are required at all times, except when eating or drinking. CCD staff are all wearing masks, as well. Anyone who feels sick, or has come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, should refrain from entering the park. CCD staff, café and rink staff will be distributing free masks to guests in the park.
