Walnut Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on the 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700 and 1800 blocks. The cross streets will remain open at select intersections (15th Street, 16th Street, 17th Street, 19th Street and the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Sansom Street.) 18th Street will be closed from Locust to Sansom and Sansom to Chestnut streets.
The #9, #12, #21 and #42 will have a westbound detour, South on Broad Street > West on Spruce > North on 20th > reconnect on Walnut Westbound.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, Center City District requests that all bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, skateboards, and other wheeled devices be walked, not ridden, through the Open Streets boundaries. Thank you.
No. There will not be supplemental food or beverage vendors on the street. Open containers of alcohol will not be sold and are strictly prohibited. All food and beverage sales will take place at restaurants located within the boundaries of the event.
Stores & Restaurants: Businesses located along the designated route can have a presence during Open Streets: West Walnut. Surrounding businesses are free to offer special incentives, sales or in-store happenings on the same days as Open Streets: West Walnut. Any businesses along the route that would like to participate, or surrounding businesses that would like to submit their in-store plans, can contact Giavana Suraci Pruiti at shop@centercityphila.org to learn more.
