Center City District (CCD) is launching an advertising campaign across multiple media platforms to promote Philadelphia’s restaurants during the coldest winter months from January through March. The new campaign encourages the public to patronize restaurants through takeout orders, because not all restaurants have been able to install heated outdoor dining areas and the return to indoor dining will probably be gradual when it begins.
Beginning this September, Center City District will introduce a full lineup of fall events at Dilworth Park, including a weekend-long Octoberfest, free concerts and the fifth anniversary of Philly’s premiere public space.

Winter traditions continue safely at Dilworth Park with the addition of Deck the Hall Holiday Lights! The newly redesigned illumination will feature festive projections on the west façade of City Hall. This unique experience will premiere on Monday, November 23 and will run through January 1, 2021.
A new, temporary art display, Color Under the Canopy, debuts at Sister Cities Park following a two-day installation. The project was designed and executed by local artist Janell Wysock. Using a loom to knit fabric, she created colorful, eye-catching wraps to decorate some of the park’s most precious assets: its trees.
