Parks Facility Maintenance & Streetscape Manager

Center City District  is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Parks Facility Maintenance and Streetscape Manager. This position is a working manager position that will focus on the operation and maintenance of CCD’s high profile parks and streetscape amenities and lighting: Dilworth Park, Sister Cities Park, Collins Park, Cret Park and 255 city blocks which are the boundaries of the CCD. The overall work schedule requires a second shift and partial weekend shift . The individual will work with private property owners and others on fee-for-service projects that expand the inventory of streetscape improvements

Facilities Technician/Maintenance

Parks Operations and Maintenance Manager

Center City District is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Management team as the Parks Operation and Maintenance Manager to assist the Parks Operations Director with the operation and oversee maintenance of four parks, three cafes, fountains, and ponds it owns or manages in Center City Philadelphia and also the management of the streetscape and public environment.

Under direction of the Park Operations Director, the Park Operations and Maintenance Manager assists with planning, organizing, and supervising the maintenance of CCD Parks and related grounds and facilities and streetscapes. This position will also assist with coordinating and supervising the activities of the CCD field personnel, help ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure, in accordance with in-house protocols and applicable rules and laws, and assist the Park Operations Director with the management overall operations within the Parks and Public Spaces Group. The Park Operations and Maintenance Manager will also assist, as needed the Park Operations Director with the preparation of annual budgets, purchasing, and management of onsite contractors. The Park Operations and Maintenance Manager may act for the Park Operations Director in the latter’s absence or as required by events and as a third back up behind the Events Manager.
