This paid internship program will start on June 1 and run for eight weeks, four days per week on-site at the CCD’s office.

The Event Operations Technician supports the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of large- and small-scale public events within Center City districts. Working under the direction of the Event Operations Team Lead, this role performs hands-on event operations, equipment handling, and site preparation.

CCD is seeking a hands-on Event Operations Team Lead to coordinate and support both large- and small-scale public events within Center City districts. This role is responsible for overseeing event preparation, execution, and post-event operations, serving as an on-site lead to ensure timelines, safety standards, and operational expectations are met. During periods without scheduled events, the Team Lead will support the Parks Operations team with preventive maintenance and park improvement projects.

The Supervisor, Parks and Events oversees daily maintenance and event operations across Center City District’s signature parks, Dilworth, Cret, Sister Cities, and John F. Collins Parks, and public spaces. This position works closely with the Manager, Events Logistics, working with outside organizations to ensure that the events expectations are met and set and break down of events are organized.
