This summer, PNC Bank will once again support local artists by underwriting CCD’s arts and culture programming in Dilworth Park, including Live @ Lunch presented by PNC beginning Wednesday June 1, and continuing every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon through July 28. These small outdoor concerts at lunchtime, featuring a full lineup of musicians representing Philadelphia’s eclectic music scene, will take place from noon-1 p.m. Attendance will be free for all.
Center City District continues to provide year-round activities in Dilworth Park as free arts and culture programming extends into the fall with support from PNC Bank. Center City District (CCD) is pleased to announce the return of the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park, made possible by an extended 3-year title sponsorship commitment from the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute through 2024. To celebrate the ongoing partnership, ice rink patrons will receive one complimentary admission and skate rental pass to the roller rink during the final week of the winter season, which ends on February 27.

With pedestrian volumes on Center City sidewalks last month reaching the highest point since March 2020, the CCD is expanding its existing clean and safe programs by launching an additional uniformed, unarmed bicycle safety patrol within the District during afternoon and evening hours. This new shift will focus on entertainment and dining areas from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. to support significant increase in returning shoppers, visitors & workers.
To support local restaurants, CCD is providing a new, evening outdoor dining experience adjacent to Dilworth Park’s fountains, with live music and cocktails to-go for those who purchase take-out from nearby restaurants.
