This holiday season, Center City District in collaboration with 6abc presents a new attraction for Dilworth Park Wintergarden visitors: a dramatic light show, synchronized with music and projected onto the West Market Street portal of City Hall.
Rothman Orthopaedic Institute presents Center City Fit.The series will offer a full lineup of fitness classes to be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings starting April 15 through October 15, with a special event scheduled for Saturday, June 1.
The Center City District is the location for almost 1,500 businesses from one-of-a-kind owner-proprietors and unique restaurants to regional and national chains. On three consecutive Saturdays, September 17, September 24 and October 1, CCD is promoting Shop Center City Saturdays, an annual campaign that highlights the unique shopping experiences offered throughout the district’s many retail corridors.
Center City District SIPS is back after a two-year hiatus with weekly discounts at dozens of local bars and restaurants on Wednesday nights throughout the District. This unique happy hour program brings back the opportunity for returning office workers to explore all that Center City has to offer once the work day ends.
Dilworth Park is preparing a full lineup of summer fun. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of programs and free events, which include outdoor movies, live music, pop-up markets and more!
This summer, PNC Bank will once again support local artists by underwriting CCD’s arts and culture programming in Dilworth Park, including Live @ Lunch presented by PNC beginning Wednesday June 1, and continuing every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon through July 28. These small outdoor concerts at lunchtime, featuring a full lineup of musicians representing Philadelphia’s eclectic music scene, will take place from noon-1 p.m. Attendance will be free for all.
Center City District Restaurant Week began 20 years ago this September, introducing thousands of diners to a two decades-long tradition that celebrates some of the best chefs and restaurateurs in the region. Beginning Sunday, September 10 through Saturday, September 23, CCDRW returns in celebration of that milestone.
