Center City District (CCD) is ramping up its year-round programming in Dilworth Park with our annual “grand finale” of winter events and attractions starting in November.
Center City District (CCD) will continue to provide safe, accessible programming to Philadelphia residents, workers and visitors this summer with a full lineup of activities in both Dilworth Park and Sister Cities Park.
With temperatures telling us that summer is approaching, Center City District Parks are welcoming visitors with a full schedule of events and seasonal amenities. Beginning June 1 through the end of August, expect everything from dancing fountains and sprawling lawns to art installations and a splashing pond, plus outdoor concerts, educational programming and movies under the stars.
With the end of winter less than a month away, Center City District (CCD) is planning for continuous outdoor entertainment with spring events and attractions in Dilworth Park, Sister Cities Park and Cret Park. The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and Cabin are now closed for the season, but the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn presented by TD Bank will remain open through April 3 with weekly programming for families.
Seasonal transitions are underway across CCD managed parks, including the return of park fountains, refreshed landscaping and the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink.
Center City District continues to provide year-round activities in Dilworth Park as free arts and culture programming extends into the fall with support from PNC Bank. Returning events include Live @ Lunch presented by PNC, which begins on Wednesday, September 7 and continues every Wednesday and Thursday through October 13, and The Arts on Center Stage Encore, which will be hosted on select Wednesday and Thursday evenings from September 1 through September 14. Attendance is free for everyone.
