The Market Street East Improvement Association released the results of an Independent study and master plan outlining a vision for Market Street East and enhanced connections to adjacent areas.
The winter installment of Center City District Restaurant Week (CCDRW) wrapped up this past Sunday, with over 90 local eateries participating in the bi-annual dining deal. Celebrations, however, are just beginning as the program looks forward to welcoming a landmark occasion this fall. In September of 2023, CCDRW will return to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
Beginning Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13, visitors are invited to spend the weekend outdoors surrounded by blooming bursts of foliage and bright colors at Dilworth Park. The Garden, a pop-up installation, will bring floral-inspired décor to the park, and will be accompanied by live music and family-friendly entertainment.
CCD SIPS has redefined the happy hour scene in Philadelphia. This June 5 through August 28, more than 80 bars and restaurants will participate, with Dilworth Park, Cret Park and Sister Cities Park all included and offering an experience unlike the others.
Includes $20,000 to the Center City District Foundation to support the creation of Pulse, a unique and dynamic installation in the fountain of Dilworth Park at City Hall.
