Center City District announces the return of The Garden, a weekend-long celebration of summer that adds to Dilworth Park’s greenery, flowers and brightly colored artwork. Beginning Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, expect live performances, activities for families and free admission for everyone.
Beginning Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13, visitors are invited to spend the weekend outdoors surrounded by blooming bursts of foliage and bright colors at Dilworth Park. The Garden, a pop-up installation, will bring floral-inspired décor to the park, and will be accompanied by live music and family-friendly entertainment.

The return to shopping and dining will be slow and gradual, influenced by how well and consistently businesses address public concerns about public health and safety, as well as the City of Philadelphia’s flexibility in encouraging the expanded use of public space to accommodate seating and waiting lines, according to results of a new CCD survey of Philadelphia residents.
Dilworth Park remains a safe, outdoor destination for Philadelphians throughout the rest of the winter season. The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin and the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn can be enjoyed through February 28, featuring a variety of free activities. Increased health and safety protocols, like mandatory mask wearing and social distancing, continue in accord with State, City and CDC guidelines.
The holiday season may have ended, but winter fun remains at Dilworth Park! Center City District (CCD) will continue to offer the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin through February 27 and the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn presented by TD Bank will remain open until April 3. A full calendar of free events is planned for guests of all ages.
