At a fundraiser at Dilworth Park attended by 650 people, business leaders marking the 25th anniversary of the Center City District and the 60th anniversary of Central Philadelphia Development Corporation gathered as the Center City District Foundation (CCDF) announced an expanded role and new board.
Center City District (CCD) is pleased to announce the return of the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park, made possible by an extended 3-year title sponsorship commitment from the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute through 2024. To celebrate the ongoing partnership, ice rink patrons will receive one complimentary admission and skate rental pass to the roller rink during the final week of the winter season, which ends on February 27.
Beginning June 1, participating locations within the Center City District will offer $6 cocktails, $5 wine and $4 beer every Wednesday after work through August 31. As return-to-office efforts expand, this unique promotion is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and coworkers while supporting some of the city’s best culinary and entertainment venues.
This summer, Dilworth Park will once again host small outdoor concerts on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons featuring a full lineup of local artists. All Live @ Lunch presented by PNC performances will take place from noon-1 p.m., from June 2 through July 29.

Center City's latest outdoor attraction will host roller skating at Dilworth Park beginning Friday, April 30 through Sunday, June 27. The rink will follow City, State, and CDC COVID-19 guidelines, including mask requirements, a reduced capacity and enhanced cleaning protocols.
