CCD has partnered with several of Philadelphia’s performing arts organizations to offer exclusive promotional discounts on tickets during Center City on Stage.
Winter traditions continue safely at Dilworth Park with the addition of Deck the Hall Holiday Lights! The newly redesigned illumination will feature festive projections on the west façade of City Hall. This unique experience will premiere on Monday, November 23 and will run through January 1, 2021.
On May 14, 2020, CPDC hosted a virtual membership meeting. CCD President Paul R. Levy drew from the recently released annual report to highlight: the strengths that can help us in recovery, the challenges left unresolved before this crisis, how CCD has continued all on-street operations through and the new initiatives CCD is undertaking to build confidence in the public environment.
On December 18, 2018, CPDC hosted a panel discussion with business leaders and asked them to highlight both the opportunities for more dynamic job growth in 2019 and the challenges and hurdles that Philadelphia needs to overcome to capitalize on these opportunities.

Spring and summer programming begins at Sister Cities Park this month with the return of Parkway Pals presented by Independence Blue Cross! On Saturday, May 20 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Center City District (CCD) will host Play Day, an official kick-off celebration with free performances, character meet-and-greets and more.
On July 28, 2022 CPDC hosted an in-person meeting on retail recovery with guest panelists Paige Jaffe, Managing Director, JLL, Jim Pearlstein, President, Peal Properties, John Usdan, CEO, Midwood Investment and Development and Jacob Cooper, Partner and Managing Director, MSC.
CCD is starting work on enhancements to Sister Cities Park. We will be expanding the park’s opportunities for play by offering new components that engage children from a broader range of ages.
