PHILADELPHIA (May 16, 2019) – On Saturday, June 1 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m., hundreds of Philadelphians will become a part of “One Big Family” as they participate in Zumba® Dance for Peace. Hosted by Rothman Orthopaedic Institute presents Center City Fit, this special two-hour fitness program will celebrate unity and togetherness throughout the City of Brotherly Love.
Laurel Perley, Director of Marketing at Center City District, will begin the day with opening statements, thanking both Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Optimal Sport Health Clubs 1315 Walnut for their support. Luis Enrique, a decade-long Zumba® instructor and creator of this event, will then be introduced. A Zumba® dance party will begin immediately following remarks. More than 35 licensed ZIN instructors and ZJs will make an appearance. That lineup includes:
