PHILADELPHIA (March 25, 2021): Dilworth Park’s spring season continues to flourish with the return of Center City Fit presented by Rothman Orthopaedics. Beginning Monday, April 12 through Tuesday, October 12, professional instructors and trainers from Optimal Sport 1315 Walnut will host outdoor fitness classes for participants at all skill levels. Enhanced health and safety protocols, like mandatory mask wearing and social distancing, remain in accord with State, City and CDC guidelines.
The six-month-long series will feature a variety of programs, including returning favorites and exciting new additions. The schedule is as follows:

September 7-October 12
Ground markers will be in place to measure six feet of social distance. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to fill out a waiver, which can be accessed via a personal smartphone. Tablets and paper waivers will be available if a smartphone is inaccessible. There will be no bag check. All classes are free and open to the public. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present if they wish to participate.
CCD and the park’s café operators have implemented increased health safety procedures throughout the park and visitors will be reminded to adhere to all CDC guidelines, including wearing masks at all times. CCD staff and all vendors are wearing masks. Anyone who feels sick, or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, should refrain from entering the park. CCD staff will be distributing free masks to guests in the park and guests must be wearing a mask to purchase any food or beverage.
Center City Fit is presented by the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute with support from Optimal Sport 1315 Walnut. All programs are weather permitting and subject to change. Dilworth Park is located at 1 S. 15th St., on the west side of City Hall. Visit DilworthPark.org to learn more.
