Light show set to music to transform City Hall into technicolored winter wonderland 

PHILADELPHIA, PA (October, 2018) — Center City District has once again partnered with 6abc to bring City Hall to life with the sights and sounds of the holiday season. This will be the second year for the Deck the Hall Light Show, presented by Independence Blue Cross. This dynamic and colorful sound and light show will be projected nightly onto the west façade of Philadelphia’s historic City Hall and synchronized with classic holiday music.

Local designers, Klip Collective, who created this exuberant light show last year, are expanding and improving the show, making it even more vibrant for 2018. The light show will premiere in Dilworth Park on Monday, November 19, with a special kick-off event, and run through January 1, 2019.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of this exhilarating spectacle of sight and sound,” says President and General Manager of 6abc, Bernie Prazenica.  “It’s great to be a part of the holidays right here in Center City, and we’re excited to see how show producers will exceed last year’s electrifying performance.”

There is so much to do at Dilworth Park this winter; in between light shows, ice skate at the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, or grab a bite to eat and a drink at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin.
