Center City District Names New Director of Communications and Publications

JoAnn Loviglio is a former Associated Press reporter

PHILADELPHIA (September 18, 2017) – The Center City District (CCD) is pleased to announce that JoAnn Loviglio will assume the role of Director of Communications and Publications, effective today. She replaces Linda K. Harris, a former editor and reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, who has served in the role since 2010 and is stepping down to become a freelance writer and editor.

Loviglio is a resident of Bella Vista and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Temple University and a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University. She began her career as a newspaper reporter, then joined the Associated Press as a reporter for 18 years, working in Providence, R.I., Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Since 2014, she has served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA).
