Spice 28 is an Asian fusion restaurant specializing in Szechuan and Asian fusion cuisine. The Center City space is located on the corner of South 13th and Chestnut Streets and features an architectural post-modern design. An LED-light lined wooden canopy separates the white under-lit bar and main dining room defined by perforated wood panels. In the kitchen executive chefs Danny Teng and Mister Ma bring two cuisines to life. Danny Teng, a half Thai, half Chinese native of Malaysia creates a collection of pan-Asian and Asian-fusion fare while Mister Ma, a Chengdu native, specializes in Spice 28’s Szechuan dishes. Menu highlights include dandan noodles and dumplings in chili oil. The full bar in front serves signature cocktails and a wide selection of wines and beers. Stop by for happy hour every weekday from 5-7 pm. Spice 28 is a Center City dining destination for inventive Asian-fusion and traditional Szechuan cuisines in a sleek design-centric space.
