On Friday, June 25, 2021, CPDC hosted a virtual membership meeting to review monthly transit, parking and pedestrian trends. Transportation leaders discussed how SEPTA is preparing for the return of office workers and the City is looking to balance the competing uses on Center City streets and avoid a return of traffic congestion.
All of Dilworth Park’s popular winter attractions are returning in November. The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink will again offer skating seven days per week, the Greenfield Lawn will host reindeer topiaries in the Wintergarden and the west facade of historic City Hall will once again be illuminated by the Deck the Hall Light Show presented by Independence Blue Cross with support from 6abc. The Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin and the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will round out the park’s seasonal transformation.
Center City District offers ice skating, outdoor dining and cold weather fun through February 2022! Beginning this November, visitors of all ages can enjoy a dramatic seasonal transformation as fountains are replaced by the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and reindeer topiaries take up winter residence on the Greenfield Lawn. In addition, a full lineup of free entertainment is planned, including the Deck the Hall Light Show, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market and Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin.
