This summer, CCD is launching Let’s Do Lunch, an exciting new dining initiative to support the vibrant lunchtime scene in Center City. Starting June 24 and continuing every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through August 14, groups of two or more can take advantage of special two-course lunch deals at participating restaurants.
Project HOME and the CCD unveiled a new information campaign that is being deployed on transit shelters and counter cards in Center City, highlighting five Philadelphians previously living on the streets who chose a path out of homelessness and now seek to inspire others to do the same.
January 2017's was the most successful Restaurant Week in the promotion’s 14-year history. The 130 restaurants that participated generated $12.8 million in revenue.
A highlight of the season, Center City District Restaurant Week, sponsored by TD Bank and OpenTable, is back this September. It will run 10 consecutive days, including Saturday, for most of the 120 participating restaurants offering a variety of culinary delights.
