CCD will welcome the return of winter events and attractions in Dilworth Park in November.
Every winter, visitors from across the region come to Center City to enjoy holiday traditions found only in Philadelphia. From the Macy’s Light Show and Santa sightings to City Hall’s Holiday Tree, Christmas Village and the Comcast Holiday Spectacular, major attractions can be found in every part of the Center City District (CCD). This year, plan the perfect holiday excursion while exploring the many shopping, dining and arts & culture destinations that define the District year-round.
Center City District (CCD) is ushering in the arrival of spring with continuous outdoor entertainment in Dilworth Park and Sister Cities Park. Beginning this March through the end of May, activities for families, fitness classes and a roller rink help to kick-start the parks’ seasonal transformation.
Dilworth Park is preparing a full lineup of summer fun. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of programs and free events, which include outdoor movies, live music, pop-up markets and more!

The CCD Foundation hosted 700 guests to benefit Center City Philadelphia's streetscape beautification, park programs, homeless outreach and more.
Center City District offers ice skating, outdoor dining and cold weather fun through February 2022! Beginning this November, visitors of all ages can enjoy a dramatic seasonal transformation as fountains are replaced by the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and reindeer topiaries take up winter residence on the Greenfield Lawn. In addition, a full lineup of free entertainment is planned, including the Deck the Hall Light Show, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market and Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin.
