FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ice skating, Wintergarden and more through February 28!

PHILADELPHIA (January 4, 2021): Dilworth Park remains a safe, outdoor destination for Philadelphians throughout the rest of the winter season. The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin and the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn can be enjoyed through February 28, featuring a variety of free activities. Increased health and safety protocols, like mandatory mask wearing and social distancing, continue in accord with State, City and CDC guidelines.

The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink has limited the number of skaters per session in 90-minute timeslots. Guests are strongly encouraged to secure their spot by purchasing tickets online ahead of time. With limited capacity, many sessions sell out. Locker rentals are also available. Individuals with pre-purchased passes can seamlessly begin their session by entering quickly through the queue line to receive their skates and locks. In-person tickets, based on availability, will be offered onsite. Admission is $5 for children 10 and younger, and $7 for adults; skate rental is $10 per person and discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. To purchase tickets and for additional information about ticketing procedures and other rink amenities, visit DilworthPark.org/rothmanrink.

Starting at the end of January, each skater will receive one free pass at the end of their session to return again anytime during the month of February, subject to availability during remaining timeslots. Please note, skate rental is not included. Free in February will also include the ability of subscribers of the IN Center City email newsletter to access free passes remotely for a limited time while supplies last. Details can be obtained when you subscribe at centercityphila.org/signup.

The open-air Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin features a limited number of socially-distant tables with a four-person maximum. With a food purchase, guests 21 and older can enjoy seasonal cocktails made with Maker’s Mark Bourbon and Haku Japanese Vodka, plus beer from Stella Artois and local winter favorite Troegs Blizzard Hops. Visitors are asked to be mindful of others, as a 30-minute time limit will be enforced while dining in the Cabin. Masks must be worn at all times when not actively eating or drinking. Food and beverages are also available to-go.

The Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn remains open with reindeer topiaries, twinkling lights and spacious seating. The onsite Chaddsford Winery Kiosk offers warm mulled wine to-go. Guests of all ages can wander the space at no charge through the end of the season.
