To extend the holiday shopping and entertainment into the New Year, Center City District (CCD) is sponsoring Restaurant Week, beginning Sunday, January 9 and continuing through Friday, January 21, 2022. Dozens of local restaurants will participate in this biannual prix-fixe dining promotion that highlights some of the city’s most diverse culinary venues.
Center City District Restaurant Week returns in the new year to highlight some of the city’s best, and most diverse, culinary venues. Beginning Sunday, January 15 through Saturday, January 28, more than 60 restaurants will showcase their best dishes in a prix-fixe, three course menu.
For nearly 20 years, Center City District Restaurant Week has given thousands of diners the opportunity to experience some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants at a reduced price. Beginning Monday, September 12, through Saturday, September 24, the tradition gets even better! In addition to prix-fixed pricing at more than 60 participating locations, including three-course dinners for $40 per person, and select lunches for $25 per person, CCD is also launching “Dinner and a Show,” a brand-new promotion that offers discounted tickets to some of the city’s most beloved arts and culture venues.

The return to shopping and dining will be slow and gradual, influenced by how well and consistently businesses address public concerns about public health and safety, as well as the City of Philadelphia’s flexibility in encouraging the expanded use of public space to accommodate seating and waiting lines, according to results of a new CCD survey of Philadelphia residents.
Beginning June 5 and continuing every Wednesday through August 28, dozens of bars and restaurants will take part in the tradition by offering exclusive discounts found only in Center City.
Philadelphia’s premier wintertime attractions at Dilworth Park will return this season with new safety protocols in accord with City, State and CDC guidelines, including mandatory masks, except when eating or drinking.
Play Day at Sister Cities Park has replaced Storybook Weekend as the official kick-off celebration of the upcoming Parkway Pals season. This daylong celebration of laughter and learning will debut on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
