Center City District (CCD) is ushering in the arrival of spring with continuous outdoor entertainment in Dilworth Park and Sister Cities Park. Beginning this March through the end of May, activities for families, fitness classes and a roller rink help to kick-start the parks’ seasonal transformation.
Center City District is getting set to celebrate fall with a season-long schedule of events for the whole family at Dilworth Park. The autumn lineup, supported by The Met Philadelphia, opening in December, includes the return of perennial favorites and the addition of brand-new programming.
The vitality and economies of U.S. downtowns have steadily improved since 2020. This major new CCD/CPDC report measures the recovery rates of 26 U.S. downtowns since then using various metrics, including employment, hotel occupancy, retail sales, and housing prices and rents.
Out with the old, in with the cold! Dilworth Park is ready to begin its annual wintertime transformation.
The Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink opens for the season at Dilworth Park on Friday, April 22 through Sunday, July 17. The colorful, retro-inspired rink will bring old-school cool to the space outside of historic City Hall with hour-long sessions available seven days a week.
