Philadelphia’s robust network of arts and culture organizations will be celebrated every week as they perform in the center of the city. The performances will range from orchestral serenades and ballet ensembles to jazz instrumentals and more. Attendance is free for all, but seating in the Greenfield Lawn is limited. Bring-your-own blanket or chair encouraged.

Philadelphia’s own all-women tap company, The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble “is a powerhouse of technique, joy, and passion” (ThINKingDance). As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the ensemble produces original works of choreography while preserving the tradition of improvisation in American rhythm tap, bringing innovative percussive dance to diverse audiences. Dancers will perform repertoire ranging from reimagined jazz standards to contemporary favorites, plus audience members will be invited to participate in interactive rhythm games and learning introductory tap steps.
