His musical influences are broad reaching from Blues, Funk, Hip Hop to World Music,Classical, and Avant-Garde. He has played on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Center.
His playing can be found on Talib Kweli’s ‘Four Women ’, Santana’s ‘After Supernatural’, Common’s ‘Sun God’, and other projects.
He was a major contributor to the Neo-Soul movement and served as a Vocal Trainer for Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, and other A list artists.
