Shekhinah B. is a creative hybrid and versatile professional. She's an internationally acclaimed vocal performer, a dedicated advocate for the arts, a skilled cultural producer, a thoughtful conversational curator, and the author of The Art Economic Empowerment Workbook & Take Charge.
She is a dynamic recording artist and songwriter with over 15 years of diverse musical experience. In 2022, she received a historical citation award from the City Council of Philadelphia for her successful Art Economic Empowerment Initiative. She's been recognized with grants and awards, including the Black Music City Award and the Encore Music Award. She excels in vocal genres like Jazz, Soul, Blues, Pop, Funk, House, and R&B. She performed in a 50-piece Public Orchestra in 2022, featuring original compositions from notable artists.
