Over 80 local bars and restaurants to offer food & drink specials as part of Center City District SIPS

Philadelphia, PA (April 29, 2019) – This summer, Center City District and EFFEN® Vodka partner for the return of Center City District SIPS, the highly anticipated happy hour tradition. For 14 weeks, beginning in June, Wednesday evenings turn into unforgettable experiences with friends, networking opportunities with colleagues and a chance for exploration of new Center City offerings.

Beginning June 5, Center City District SIPS takes place in bars and restaurants on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. through August 28. More than 80 participating bars will offer $6 signature cocktails featuring EFFEN® Vodka, $5 wine, $4 beer and half-priced appetizers.                                                                                        

Celebrating its 16th year, Center City District SIPS brings to life the area’s finest local bars, artisan mixologists, award-winning restaurants and unique-to-Philadelphia venues for a vibrant after-work atmosphere. This summer, ‘Every Sip Has a Story’ as the ever-evolving happy hour tradition continues to thrive with Center City’s robust food and beverage scene. New participants include outdoor green spaces, beloved rooftops and culinary favorites such as Continental Midtown, Giuseppe & Sons and Iron Hill Brewery. Bud Light is proud to support Center City District SIPS and will be featured at many of the SIPS participating locations.

In addition to the new venues and food specials, attendees can enjoy the perfect summer cocktail by Center City District SIPS sponsor EFFEN® Vodka.
