Paul R. Levy

President and CEO

Paul is the founding chief executive of the CCD, serving in that capacity since January 1991. The CCD is a $23.5 million downtown management district, which provides security, cleaning, place marketing and planning services, as well as streetscape and park improvements for the central business district of Philadelphia.

Steven Bussey

Vice President of Parks & Streetscape Operations

Steve has overall management responsibility for CCD’s four parks – John F. Collins Park, Sister Cities Park, Cret Park and Dilworth Park. In addition, he is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all CCD streetscape improvements – lighting, landscaping and directional signs.

Anthony E. Pipitone

Vice President of Finance & Administration

Tony is responsible for the management of a $23-million-plus operating budget and day-to- day operations for the CCD and affiliated organizations. He oversees financial reporting, human resources, insurance and legal issues, and is heavily involved in programming and long-term strategic planning for the organization.

Nancy Goldenberg

Vice President of Planning & Development Executive Director, Center City District Foundation

As Vice President of Planning & Development, Nancy oversees the planning and development of CCD’s public space improvements and directs public and private fundraising and charitable giving activities for the organization. As Executive Director of the Center City District Foundation (CCDF), Nancy oversees the operations of this philanthropic affiliate of the CCD. The CCDF is the charitable vehicle for initiating and supporting projects of the CCD for the benefit of Philadelphia’s economic prosperity and quality of life.

Rob Nicol

Vice President for Business Services

Rob provides strategic and management oversight of revenue-generating partnerships for CCD, including licensing activities, venue rentals, corporate sponsorship of events, streetscape banner and transit shelter advertising. His team seeks new business opportunities to support CCD programs and activities from non-assessment revenue sources.

Michelle Shannon

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Michelle oversees CCD’s marketing and communication programs, including print, television and radio promotions, website content and design, media communications, events, retail attraction and other marketing and promotional activities in support of the CCD’s mission.
