Shop Center City Saturdays Returns to Highlight the District’s Unique Retail Corridors  

Shop Center City Saturdays returns for three consecutive Saturdays, September 17, September 24 and October 1.This year, the annual campaign is highlighting the unique shopping experiences offered throughout the district’s many retail corridors. Center City offers a walkable, vibrant atmosphere accented by outdoor cafes and public spaces, world-renowned restaurants and celebrated arts and culture venues. The Avenue of the Arts, Market East, Midtown Village and Rittenhouse Row each provide a unique well-rounded shopping, dining and entertainment experience.

Avenue of the Arts is the city’s premier destination for the performing arts, with places like the Kimmel Cultural Campus, at the forefront. Rittenhouse Row is home to a variety of national retailers and luxury brands, while Midtown Village specializes in locally-owned businesses. On Market East, the focus shifts to well known national brands like Macy’s, TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less and the Fashion District.

On September 17, keep an eye out for a pop-up experience along Market East, curated by CCD and Philly Fashion Week, which includes a Shop Center City shopping bag giveaway while supplies last.

During Shop Center City Saturdays visitors can explore these diverse offerings while enjoying special events and promotions hosted in each neighborhood. Happenings will vary from week to week, which allows returning shoppers to focus on a different corridor. See below for the schedule of events.
