Everyone is welcome at the All-American Cookout! Summertime favorites will be served hot off the grill, while the Dilworth Park Café offers a variety of classic bites. Live music and DJ tracks will ring from The Met Philadelphia stage as parkgoers enjoy refreshing cocktails featuring Maker’s Mark bourbon and cold Bud Light and Landshark Lager inside the pop-up beer garden.
Guests are encouraged to bring their pups to participate in a Patriotic Pooch Contest! On Saturday and Sunday, cookout attendees will vote for their favorite looks. The dog donning the best American-themed threads will win Piggyback Dog Treats, and they'll also win their human a Budweiser Grill Package. Winner will be announced at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
At 3 p.m., a good old fashioned watermelon eating contest is planned for guests 21 and over. Be sure to register before spots run out! The contest will only be available to the first 20 signees. The winner will receive a Herr’s prize package. Carnival games and other activities are planned for guests of all ages to enjoy during this 5-day backyard bash.

This year’s All-American Cookout will end on a high note with DJ Xtina on board to MC Sunday’s final festivities. The Philadelphia-based DJ is known for her eclectic style and passion for excitement, much like the day’s first artist, Deb Callahan. She is a blues-soul singer-songwriter who has been a staple in the Philly music scene for over 20 years. The next group, Dukes of Destiny, is also an industry mainstay with 3 decades of experience under their belt. Their bluesy, soulful vibe has earned them local accolades. The Naked Sun, hailing from South Philly, will follow up with a rock and roll sound reminiscent of 70’s era favorites. The multitalented Zeek Burse will perform the final numbers of the weekend, showcasing his exhilarating passion and incomparable vocal range.
