Experience Chinese New Year at Dilworth Park featuring Temple University’s Klein College of Media & Communication. Master Matt Zhang, a local martial arts instructor, will kick off the evening’s live entertainment at 5:30 p.m. with an immersive Kung Fu and Tai Chi performance. At 7 p.m., Chinatown’s own Philadelphia Suns will put on a traditional lion dance show, complete with a prancing dragon. Sparkler effects, an Asian-inspired menu and other surprises are planned throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to ice skate on the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink. Lucky red envelopes containing secret prizes will be given to the first 50 guests.
