FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILADELPHIA (April 23, 2020): The Center City District (CCD) has curated dozens of free events throughout the year, including Center City Fit presented by Rothman Orthopaedics. Under normal circumstances, this outdoor fitness series would debut at Dilworth Park in April. However, in accordance with public health and safety directives, CCD has postponed all park events until further notice.
But CCD is promoting all businesses that are open for pick-up and delivery in Center City, including multiple fitness, sports, yoga and dance studios that are offering on-line programs: https://www.centercityphila.org/explore-center-city/support.
CCD and Optimal Sport have also teamed up to host a virtual version of our Dilworth Park classes for participants of all skill levels. Beginning Monday, May 4, Zumba® and Boot Camp videos can be streamed every Monday and Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. until further notice. All streams will be shown live on the Dilworth Park Facebook page and the workouts will remain available for participants to exercise at their leisure.
Program and instructor information is as follows:
