Inspired by the elegant supper clubs of 1940s Manhattan, The Prime Rib is a restaurant in downtown Philadelphia known for gourmet steak and seafood in an upscale setting that evokes old-school luxury. The Prime Rib’s Philadelphia address opened in 1997 on the ground floor of the historic Warwick Hotel. Located off the corner of 17th and Locust streets in Rittenhouse Row, the Prime Rib was named one of the Top Five Romantic Restaurants in the U.S. by Food and Wine Magazine and opens daily at 4:30 pm for dinner with a menu of prime meats and fresh seafood. Three private rooms are available for special events. Live music is offered every evening and the attire is business casual; no jacket required.
