Abe Fisher, Bank & Bourbon, and Chops Join the Ranks
for Center City District Restaurant Week this September

PHILADELPHIA, PA (July 22, 2014) – Philadelphia’s booming restaurant scene offers an abundance of culinary options. With so many thriving restaurants, Center City District Restaurant Week provides food lovers in the Philadelphia region a great opportunity to visit the area’s finest restaurants with a vast array of cuisine and specially priced menus. With several nationally acclaimed chefs, renowned restaurant groups, and award-winning restaurants, the palate of Philadelphians has expanded to accommodate the evolving scene and Restaurant Week truly encompasses something for everyone.

Now in its 11th year, Center City District Restaurant Week, has served more than one million guests at a legion of restaurants, and 2014 brings a bevy of new participants for Fall including 4 Fathers, Abe Fisher, Bank & Bourbon, Chops, Entrée BYOB, High Street on Market, Mixto, and Stella Rossa, in addition to longtime Restaurant Week favorites. The specially priced menus will be offered at more than 120 participating restaurants for two weeks, September 7-12 and September 14-19, 2014.

“After eleven years, we are thrilled with the growth of this promotion,” said Michelle Shannon, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Center City District. “We have some of the country’s most talented chefs in our kitchens and these two weeks are an excellent chance for food lovers to get a representative taste of what these restaurants have to offer. We are targeting a unique sector—the much coveted trial business—and with the great caliber of chefs in Philadelphia, we know that these diners will return time and time again.”

This September’s Restaurant Week will showcase more than 120 restaurants offering signature three-course dinners for only $35.00 per person with select restaurants additionally featuring a three-course lunch for $20.00 per guest *not including tax, gratuity, or alcohol.  Reduced parking rates for guests of Center City District Restaurant Week are available at Philadelphia area parking facilities and a full list and map are available on www.centercityphila.org.

Reservations are going fast for these special menus during this two-week period in September. Sponsors of Center City District Restaurant Week include TD Bank, Celebrity Cruises, Visit Philly, Jim Beam, PHLCVB, Philadelphia Parking Authority, OpenTable, Philly.com/food and Philadelphia Style.
