Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink

The Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink offers outdoor roller skating at Dilworth Park April 19 through June 30, 2024. This colorful, retro-inspired rink brings old-school cool to historic City Hall. The rink’s vibrant checkerboard floor is complimented by a brand-new overhead art installation which was designed and fabricated by Philadelphia’s Lucky Dog Studio.

Choose a Roller Skating Session 

Hour-long sessions will be offered to the public Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. - 8:45 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. with 15 minute scheduling buffers between each session. Admission is $8 for children 10 and younger, and $10 for adults; roller skate rental is $6. Guests may bring their own skates and will then just need to pay for admission. Matinee Skate will offer $5 off of admission to guests of all ages on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Rink patrons should book sessions in advance through an online reservation system. Limited in-person sales may be offered onsite. Patrons will be able to purchase locks and reserve lockers. Reserve your skating session here rothmanrink.ticketsocket.com.

Discounted Matinee Skate
Mondays-Tuesdays: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Matinee Skate guests of all ages will receive $5 off admission. No promo code needed. 

Rink Rentals
The Rothman Roller Rink is a great place for a private or corporate party. For rental information, visit the rink rental page.

Rothman Roller Rink Policies:

• Socks: Socks are required while using Rental Skates.
• Rent a Locker: Shoes will not be stored by rink staff when renting skates. We encourage you to rent a locker to secure your shoes and personal belongings. CCD and Rink Management Services are not responsible for lost or stolen items that were not properly secured.  
• Check In: Signage will direct guests through the check-in process and skate rental.
• Arrive Early: Queue line will be open 15 minutes prior to your designated skating session. Please arrive early to ensure time for check in and allow for maximum time on the rink.
• Leave Promptly: When your skating session ends, please leave the rink area within 15 minutes, to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next session.

Dilworth Park Amenities

Guests can relax by the Air Grille Garden offering a full menu of roller rink-inspired snacks. At the bar, adults 21 and older can enjoy cocktails made with Haku® Vodka and Tres Generaciones® Tequila. The Dilworth Park Café will also be open for you to grab sandwiches, salads and sweet treats. Salt & Vinegar, situated within the café, offers products from local women-owned and minority-owned businesses.

Sections of Dilworth Park’s dancing fountain will be active in front of the TD Terrace, and the Air Grille Garden is conveniently connected to the rink area so skaters can fuel up between sessions.
