PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2016) – Dilworth Park is going to the dogs this August and September with a series of pet-friendly events at the southern end of Dilworth Park, presented by TD Bank. Guests can also take home a souvenir caricature of their dog, treats, and more.
There will be five Yappy Hours, presented by TD Bank, on Wednesday evenings, August 31, September 7, September 14, September 21, and September 28, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.Enjoy drink specials from Dilworth Park Café, featuring $5 sangria, $4 wine, $3 beers and snacks; dog snacks are available as well. Plan to attend many fun dog-related events that change each week so there’s something new for Fido and you.
Guests can participate in an Instagram contest to compete for fun prizes each week by taking a photo of their pet, checking in at Dilworth Park, and using #YappyHours and #DilworthPark. Prizes include gift cards to Dilworth Park Café and pet-themed gifts.
Three consecutive lunchtime events, Dog Days of Dilworth, are featured on Tuesday, August 30; Wednesday, August 31; and Thursday, September 1, 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.Pastry Chef James Rodebaugh will present a cooking demonstration on baking dog treats at 12:30 p.m., August 31, while Dilworth Park Café will have a hot dog cart serving lunch each day.
